Express Bakery is a multi-award winning family run bakery in the rural South of Scotland. The bakery was started in 1970 by Alan Johnstone. Alan had a successful 12 years with Mothers Pride when he decided to move to his home town and start his own bakery. The business grew rapidly to become the premium wholesale bakery in the South of Scotland. His two sons Malcolm and Stanley joined the business in the early eighties and the business has continued to grow. We produce a full range of Morning Rolls, soft baps, brown and granary rolls. We also produce the famous hand cut potato scone and a full range of hot plate lines including the best soda scones on the market. We operate from an excellent production facility in rural Dumfriesshire and supply a range of customers from the Nhs to the corner shop. We pride ourselves on excellent service and superior quality products.
