New for 2024! HACCP Management & Review Course

Keeping HACCP up to date is an important part of a food safety management system. In this interactive course, delegates will learn about validation and verification activities, establishing critical limits, monitoring activities and auditing HACCP plans.

New for 2024! An Introduction to Food Microbiology Course

Understanding food microbiology is a key skill within food and drink production. In this full-day course, delegates will learn about the different types of micro-organisms, the factors affecting their growth and how they are controlled. The course includes practical information on setting micro specifications and the identification of micro criteria. Different lab and rapid test results are investigated in a workshop activity. 

We continue to offer our popular product-specific HACCP Level 2 courses, designed with small food and drink businesses in mind. These interactive courses explore HACCP at a practical level, sharing experiences with others from the same industry. Successful HACCP delegates receive a qualification recognised by the Institute of Food Science & Technology.

Our popular Allergen Management – Principles & Practice course navigates the challenge of managing allergens in food production. It includes the identification of allergen sources, assessment and management of risk, verification, and the role of testing.  We also cover the legislative requirements of Natasha’s Law. Unique to our course is the opportunity to review your existing allergen systems and analysis of your current labelling.

We also offer in-house training where our IFST-registered trainers can deliver specific training at your premises.
