Luscombe Drinks are fizzing with SALSA success

Based on the southeastern flank of Dartmoor in the heart of Devon, Luscombe Organic Drinks, a family-owned business, have been producing an extraordinary range of juice-based soft drinks (carbonated and still), ginger beers and ciders since 1997.  Gabriel David, Founder and chairman puts it in a nutshell.    ‘It’s all about the taste’ he says.  ‘we search the world and our own orchards to find the best organic fruits to put in our Luscombe bottle. We don’t use any tricks or shortcuts, going to great lengths to make drinks which are a real pleasure to taste”.

Produced using bespoke pieces of equipment, their drinks are made from genuine quality fruits sourced directly from growers - apples and elderflowers from the UK, and the more exotic ingredients such as lemons from Sicily and Vanilla from Madagascar, Luscombe don’t use concentrates, artificial flavours, sweeteners or additives.  

A team of 40 full-time staff turn out approximately 10,000 litres of juices a day in a range of 3 bottle sizes. Luscombe’s products are widely available across the UK; currently they supply quality bars, restaurants, hotels and farm shops and are also sold through online stockists Abel & Cole, Riverford Organics and GoodnessDirect.  The variety and quality of their drinks is testament to the numerous awards they have won including Great Taste, Taste of the West and British Bottlers Awards.

Gabriel is looking forward to the summer season.   ‘Right now we’re busy producing our Wild Elderflower Bubbly, an exquisite softly sparkling fruity and floral drink. The Elderflower Bubbly will perfect any summer party and pairs beautifully with smoked meats and salmon.”
