New Member Resource - Introducing the New Digital Self-Assessment Checklist!
Keeping on top of food safety systems is one of the most important things a food and drink business can do. But finding the time to step back and review everything. From training records to traceability, it can feel like a big task, especially alongside the demands of a busy production operation.
The new SALSA Self-Assessment Checklist is a digital tool that makes it straightforward to review food safety systems, track progress, and stay audit-ready all year round.
Available exclusively to SALSA members at no extra cost, our new Self-Assessment checklist covers every requirement of the SALSA Standard, allowing members to record current practices, identify gaps, and build an action plan at their own pace. Work is saved automatically (an internet connection is required), so it fits around even the busiest schedule.
Access the Self-Assessment Checklist by logging in to your Member Portal.

Confidential by design
Self-assessments are completely private. They are stored securely on the Member Portal and are not checked, reviewed, or accessed by SALSA. Auditors do not see a member’s self-assessment unless the member chooses to share it. It is a tool designed to support food safety management from within the business.
SALSA members can access the Self-Assessment Checklist by logging in to the Member Portal and navigating to the Self-Assessments section.
