SALSA PLUS

In addition to its regular Standard, SALSA offers two other sector-specific Standards: SALSA plus Beer or SALSA plus Cheese.

SALSA plus audits compose of a regular SALSA Standard plus additonal requirements for either Cheese or Beer.
 

SALSA plus Beer

A SALSA plus Beer audit has been developed in association with Cask Marque, to offer small and micro-sized brewers a Standard tailored to the scale and structure of their operation and to allow approved members to approach buyers with reinforced confidence
with their craft ales and beers.  The audits are undertaken by
specially trained auditors with extensive experience of the brewing industry.

SALSA plus Cheese 

A SALSA plus Cheese audit accommodates the specific requirements of the Specialist Cheesemakers Association (SCA).  The audits are undertaken by specially trained auditors with extensive experience of the dairy industry.

*NB. In order to be audited against SALSA plus Cheese, your business will need to be a member of the Specialist Cheesemakers Association*.   You will be expected to hold a copy of their Code of Best Practice at the time of the audit, obtainable from the SCA.  Visit Specialist Cheesemakers Association.
