Multi award-winning Artisan cheesemakers from the village of Riseley in Berkshire. A family run business established in 1986 producing 4 well known hand-made cheeses. Spenwood a hard matured sheeps milk cheese; Wigmore a semi-soft white rinded cheese; Waterloo a semi-soft white rinded Guernsey cows milk cheese and the latest addition Maida Vale, another semi-soft Guernsey cheese but rind-washed in a local ale. All cheeses are made using vegetarian rennet and thermised milk not pasteurised classifying them as raw milk cheeses. Various sizes are available as shown on our website www.villagemaidcheese.co.uk
