Many buyers have at last recognised that there are many small and local suppliers producing superb traditional or new products, often using quality local ingredients.  SALSA has been set up by the industry as a low cost, sustainable not for profit scheme to help local producers meet the standards  buyers demand and overcome the barriers to trade.  The associated costs of becoming a SALSA Member and becoming SALSA Approved are as follows:



  • Membership Fee: £50 + vat 

  • First Year SALSA Audit Fee: £450 + vat

  • Annual SALSA Audit Fee: £500 + vat
    Prices as from 1st April 2008

SALSA plus SPECIALIST CHEESEMAKERS ASSOCIATION

The SALSA plus SCA Audit is now available for businesses to buy, the Standard has been designed to accommodate the requirements of the Specialist Cheesemakers Association.  The Standard is available for you to download "free" prior to becoming a Member.  In order to book your audit you must first register with the SALSA Scheme.
Associated costs of becoming SALSA plus SCA Approved are:



  • SALSA Membership: £50 + vat

  • SALSA plus SCA: £600 + vat
