The SALSA Directory

Scottish Food Quality Certification helps food and farming businesses across the UK meet certification and other business requirements. We have been involved in SALSA since the early stages; working with partner organizations to develop the first standard and pilot it with producers in Scotland. These businesses were the first in the UK to be mentored, and then achieve SALSA certification. SFQC continues to be actively involved in the development of SALSA, and supports Scottish businesses toward audit via professional mentoring. The mentors retained by SFQC are technically qualified, experienced and independently registered. Due to a range of funding packages, mentoring is available to Scottish producers at very reasonable rates.
