Kent Business School offer a Free workshop - Where is the value in your supply chain?

Free IGD workshop -"Sell more & waste less"

The course run by IGD is an ideal chance for you to: learn how to increase value and reduce waste, equip yourself with simple tools and techniques that can be used effectively within you business. Receive two months support from experts, get written guidance on best practise and network with other businesses and experiences. The workshop is fully funded by IGD, but your business must have a turnover of less than £10 million and have less than 50 employees.

SALSA Workshop: Seafood Cornwall, Newlyn 20th October

Funding for SALSA Members in North East

SALSA provided the launch platform in July for the Foodfix & Jusi group grant support initiative for East Anglia. The initiative provides consultative support for existing and new SALSA members to achieve a fully funded gap analysis against the SALSA Standard. Foodfix & Jusi group have now gained support from the North East funding body to be part of this growing success story.
This mean businesses in Cleveland, Co Durham, Tyne & Wear and Northumberland that meet the grant criteria can now enjoy a fully funded grant gap analysis provided by approved SALSA mentors. To find out more about this opportunity please Join the SALSA Scheme......

LACORS Recognises SALSA

" Lacors recognises the importance of voluntary food assurance schemes and recommends that enforcement authorities take SALSA membership into account when determining the frequency of inspection visits to food businesses". LACORS and SALSA have agreed to liaise and exchange information with each other as appropriate. Enforcement Officers can now check if a food business is registered or approved by SALSA through the website.
